Don is right start a new thread, but I can already tell you that 1 or two more blades (when you already have 6!) is not going to do it. If you are now hitting a strong 5000rpm with your TYPICAL load aboard, you could go up one pitch size (in a Bravo 3 propset, that is a set of 24s).

Almost same cost as the Mercruiser ones.
I am thinking same pitch, more blades would do it for me.
