2000 Johnson 150 w/Ficht

I am considering buying a Hurricane Deck Boat with a 2000 Johnson 150 w/ Ficht injection. Does anyone know if 2000 affected by the retrofits many Johnsons needed? Also, does anyone know if the warranty on the motor is transferable from the original owner to a second owner? Is this a motor a should shy away from?

From what i have read on another site, I would run away from it. Even tho Johnson stood behind them, the horror stories abound.<br />Check out this site link, and do a search under OMC,Johnson,FICHT,and grab a cup of coffee....If GIVEN one, I would trade it off EVEN-UP for a Force.
