Hi I have a 2000 50 hp jonson it was just rebuilt before I bought it, we took it out on the water, it idels real rough but once you get above an idel it runs great. we took the carbs off spotless. so we have had for about 4 months and tried just about everything we can think of new plugs, cleaned carbs, had all the linkages adjusted, and still will not run good, we had it out to today and it keep stalling on us the only way to keep it runing was to pump up the bulb oh and the oil injection has been disconnected

did you remove the low speed jet, and clean them, they could still have some crud in them.. i use a couple of strand of stranded copper wire, and make sure they are clear. also what are your idle rpms, could be you just need to set the idle speed stop screw, up a little. you should be idleing, at 600-750 with the motor in the water an in gear. running a speed indicates the fuel pump is working properly. also check your spark when idling.
