2000 5.7 - has anyone relocated the oil filter to match newer engines?

I notice on the newer 5.7's the oil filter is up on the port exhaust side, easy to get to. It looks like a relocation kit is installed, has anyone retrofitted one of these to an older 5.7?

No but I wish I did on my 01 298 vista when I put 6.2's in it. Port oil filter is a ***** on that boat to change.

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,..... It's a pretty straight forward deal,.....

Dependin' on the "Kit", ya might need to fab up a bracket, or whatever,....
