Just replaced the impella and thermostat to my 2000 4.3gl after it over heated on Memorial Day. I cleaned out all hoses and removed all debri and old impella. Now it won't start. It turns over nicely but will not fire. I did find the audible alarm broken but I think that has been broke for a while. Any suggestions?

Do you have spark?

Yes I have spark. Should I be able to hear the fuel pump?

Ok, I just got it to fire with starter fluid in carb! Now, how to test fuel pump? Or relay?

Did you check the 6 amp circuit breaker by the fuel pump and the 50 amp circuit breaker on the front of the starboard exhaust riser? If they are still set, check for voltage at the fuel pump plug while the engine is cranking. If you have voltage, bad fuel pump. No voltage, bad fuel pump relay or open diode.
