2000 Evinrude 15hp 4 stroke trolling motor starts and runs great for about 45 minutes and then shuts down. After sitting for 15-20 minutes will start and run great for 20 minutes and then shuts down again. Have replaced pick up tube in main fuel tank to motor, new ball on fuel line, new fuel line from tank to motor, new impeller on water pump. Not sure what to try next. Has been to repair shop - they thought it was fixed, but don't know what's wrong.<br /><br />Thanks.
<br /><br />Sounds like a hot failure in the ignition system to me.<br /><br />Pull the bonnet and fire her up in the water or on muffs. Let her idle while you put a hair dryer on the ignition modules.<br /><br />If (when?) she quits you have just heated a heat sensitive part that needs replacing.<br /><br />Good luck, and let us know what you find.
