2000 150 ocean pro thermostats

the water outlets for the cylinder head cooling on both sides have stopped peeing. the flush port outlet has a strong stream. could both thermostats have simultaneously stuck closed?

yep, especially if the motor sat for a while. salt, metal = rust.

I thought the only telltale was the flush port with the hole drilled in it. Why not remove the thermostats and check them for proper operation? They should open at 140*F
