200 XRi Any Problems?

I have an early 80's 200 HP Blackmax that needs a powerhead rebuild.

A guy here locally has a 1993 200 XRi complete upper with low hours. I've never had anything with fuel injection, is there something I should know about this motor? Any chronic problems with these things or potential gotchas?

Another related question, since I can't be sure of the number of hours on the motor, what should I look for other than compression? Any other signs of a tired motor or problems?
