200 v6 with midrange miss

engine runs fine at idle through 3000 rpms and then starts to miss-continues until you clear 3500 rpms then no more miss fires-runs smooth...
Any ideas,runs to good at other rpm ranges to be serious

I would suspect carb problem in midrange jet/s
if its been a while ,rebuilding them with 6 new kits wouldn't harm anything.
Its an easy DIY job, take you less than 2 hrs.

If that don't fix it then try inspect , note condition and try new plugs ,..
and a timing light to see if it is dropping ignition spark when underway. Don't rev it that high on a hose, it needs the load.
