1993 60hp evinrude motor will run great. Give it full throttle runs great until I retard throttle then it dies loses fire for 20 minutes then starts up and will run rine again.
I have no idea what is wrong but I do know enough to start with the basics. When the failure occurs I would immediately check for spark.
Well instead of writing out instructions, I'll go this rout. Verify spark, compression, timing, and fuel delivery first. My "Guess" is that you are losing spark.
