20 hp Mariner No Spark

Hi , we have a 20 mariner ( 97 or 98 model electric start ) with no spark. It started acting up a while back, it quit a few times, Now it has no spark. We have checked the flywheel magnets as was suggested in a previous post and they seem tight. Is there any other obvious things we can check before going to the marina?

You can check the obvious things like plugs, plug wires, etc. Without some basic test equipment you won't be able to go much further.
