I don't know what you consider alot, but 50:1 with a "tcw3" rated oil would do the job...

Yes it would hurt your motor. You have to mix it 50:1. If you dont, your motor will not get the required amount of oil in the cylinders and bearings, and it will die a fast painful death.

in the mid 80's omc and otherts too, tried experimenting with 100:1 for emisions sake... but that didnt work too well, im sure you can figure out why, i have a 20hp suzuki with 100:1 stickers from the factory printed right on the engine... even if it WAS SUPPOSED TO GET 100:1, all youll do by going 50:1 is maybe foul some plugs, and would you rather replace your plugs or your motor........

You are getting good advice, the only way you could mix 100:1 is with the Amsoil Saber that is blended to run at that ratio, Truth of the matter is that Amsoil is not TC-W3 certified, but is rated as a TC-W3 or better. (Not NMMA certified though) I myself, even though an Amsoil dealer tell people , (depending on there use) to run it at 80:1. If you are doing a lot of trolling, you can run it at 100:1, and you couldnt find a better oil in that application. Some, if they are running at WOT for extended periods to get to where they are going to troll, will have two tanks, one for the trip out, and one for trolling.
