Motor starts fine when cold - runs great on way out - when I stop I idle her for a min or so then turn her off and on - fires immediately. Then after fishing for 1/2 hr to hr - I move she fires up and runs great stop idle for a min turn off and hit key fires up immediately - fish for 10 to 15 mins and hit the key and she turns over fine but no fire up - put on the trolling motor and start home - in 30 mins hit the key and the engine fires up and runs great. Think its a vapor lock issue but would like ideas as to where to start - right now looking at gas vent - gas lines and bulb and most likely rebuilding the fuel pump.

Thanks for the suggestions - went out last week - and checked prime bulb - was firm - took boat out brought it back re started no problem - out again short run came back and when I attempted restart heard an attempt to fire then the same turning over no fire - crossed my mind that maybe it was a flooding issue and not a vapor lock or lack of fuel - realized I automatically push the key in when starting and by doing so was automatically engaging the choke. Waited a minute or 2 and just turned the key no push engine fired immediately. Took it back out and back twice restarted immediately each time just turning not pushing key. Went fishing engine ran like a champ - every restart was immediate no matter length of stop. Lesson don't push key in on old Merc doesn't like the choke when warm. My bad.
