It means you trade up every couple of years for something 2 ft bigger that what you already have, it keeps boat dealers in business. Buy the largest thing you can at the beginning.

Yes, A-man, it may stop if:<br /><br />You get a boat that is too big to store, too heavy to tow with your vehicle, too expensive to operate or maintain or too much boat for your waters.<br /><br />Then you wish you still had your 17. You part with the QE III and go back to a boat that really matches your usage, budget and availability of time. :)

2Foot fever..If I had 2 more feet of boat, I'd need a bigger truck.<br />And JB is so right-on! I had a 23footer,but didn't own a trailer..I had to BORROW one every year for hull maintainence! I loved the old girl,but she just sucked the greenage outta my wallet.
