any tips at all on installing the outdrive back onto the bell housing?, gimbal bearing and coupler are aligned, i bought the tool and it slides in 1.5 inches or so and i can see spline marks all the way around the diameter of the tool, lightly greased the spline, drive shaft and gear housing tube, it slides in easy till 1.5 inches out, spun prop to try to find teeth in coupler, shift fork in good position ,and it is in forward gear but pretty far forward, should this be in just forward position?, reverse lock in release, and front trim cylinder bolt out,should i try to put u-joints in 45 degree position to minimize drop or what? need a new gasket kit ,(tore it) and should i use perfect seal on it? any help is greatly appreciated.
