1999 Yukon 5.7L Fuel Milage

We just bought one to replace a tired 1993 Explorer. I am wondering what to expect for fuel milage:<br /><br />1. Around town - without trailer and with (6000 lb)?<br />2. On the interstate - without trailer and with (6000 lb)?

http://www.fueleconomy.gov/ Has the "fuel mileage for most 1/2 ton vehicles. Look it up. You can probably expect 11-12 while towing.<br /><br />Bob

10-12 while towing and about 15-16 without a trailer mixed highway/city.

I have a 2000 Yukon and get exactly the fuel mileage that Johnshan1 states. On highway w/o boat, get about 17-18. On Highway with boat, about 14, mixed driving with boat, 10-12. All in town driving, about 12. Great vehicle - you will love it.
