Ok. So I bought a 1999 xlt 1200 limited yamaha about a month ago. I didn't realize it had plugs, and sank it. I shelled out 1K to have it fixed, and didn't realize it had a gash in the side, and it sank again. I know i'm stupid. I fixed the gash, and now it floats no problem. The second time, I just replaced the spark plugs and it runs fine. BUT.. A few days ago, every so often the exhaust temp warning would come on. I would just turn it off and let it cool of and go back to riding. It runs for about 45MIN, and then it will turn off and won't turn back on until the next day. It happened again to me today, but today the exhaust temp warning didn't go off. What the heck is wrong with this thing?
