Hello, I have a 1999 mercury 150hp efi outboard that I am having some issues with. It is pretty hard to get starter, I feel it takes excessive cranking to get going. Once it starts you can turn it off and it will start right up like an efi should. If I let the engine warm up a little more it will eventually just die. seems to be starved for fuel. using starter fluid with lubricant it will kick right off but if you dont it will eventually get it running again with same results. fuel pressure was ok, it was just over 40psi. Pulling the intake plate off I can see all the injectors squirting fuel. Compression is good. BTW my oil pump is disconnected and I am running premixed gas. Any ideas what it could be? Thanks
