1999 johnson 25hp idle sneeze and kills

Hey guys my motor starts up idles fine for about half a minute then spits and kills then starts right up and if I give it just a hair of trottle it runs fine and runs awesome wot just when I have tiller handle all the way idled down it does this does anyone know what's makin this happen and I just rebuilt carbs about 2 months ago and I just cleaned out with compress air and she's spotless

Can this be my mixture screw not set right cause it idles fine no sneezing til about a minute into it then spits and kills

Sneeze is a classic symptom of a lean condition. Mixture screw a little richer may help.
Also the idle should be about 700 in gear.

Ok kool it don't sneeze all the time ...idles awesome for like a minute then just spits and kills .....u think if its idled down to low it will valse that to happen

Ima turn mixture out a hair see if that helps and I have a tiny tach I will install to read rpms
