1999 Aquasport 175 w/ Johnson 115 help

Looking at buying the above mentioned boat/motor/trailer combo but have a few questions. It's a center console/helm if that helps.

When we hooked the hose up to the motor flushing port so we could fire it up, it wasn't pissing water. Is this motor supposed to **** water or did it not do it b/c the hose was hooked up there? Water came out a few other holes, but not where I thought it was supposed to. Also, the water & trim gauges on the helm dash did nothing.

On the Port side of the helm is a water hookup, what's this for? Below it is a turn handle for the livewell & washdown. Is the water hookup I just mentioned for washdown & the turn handle selects between livewell or washdown? Here's a pic of what I'm talking about:

Boat, motor, & trailer are all in good cond, what do you think the approx. value is?

Are there any other good forums where I can get technical help w/ this boat/motor?

Water should come out of the tail tell if you cranked the motor, it may take a few seconds but it should come out in a nice strong stream. It will not come out just by hooking to motor to the hose and turning the water on. The water should also be turned up enough to supply enough water to keep the motor cool.

I would suspect the water hook up is for the washdown hose and the handle switches between filling the bait well and supplying the hose, but there is not way to tell without seeing it.
