Last year, I had my carb rebuilt on the motor (s/n OG811557). It ran fine all last year and initially this year. The last time or two I've tried to start it after a week's layoff, it has been very hard to start. There is a smell of gasoline as well. It acts as if it's flooded but runs great once it finally starts. Also, I was able to start it the next day with no significant problems. I did not squeeze the priming bulb.

As I said, the carb was rebuilt last May and ran fine the first time or two out this year. I have heard that these carbs can be a real PIT Rump.

Any ideas as to the problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
