So I have been have some fuel issues and replaced the pump and now need to check a dead injector.

While the plenum is off I planned on replacing the pressure regulator. Oem mercruiser is 400, but it seems like a standard Delphi for.a work truck would work for 56 bucks
Anyone know if the mercruiser and vortec ran the same pressure?

Reg is used on your L29 and some 8.1 is a damper on fuel rail
Should be 43 psi (same as cool fuel Reg) but unable to verify.
Other part numbers are
802630T01, new 8M0069803, (43psi) Sierra 18-7663, Crusader 49063

IMO the part should interchange but maybe @Fun Times might have some insight

Also IMO it will not fix your current problem

I think the current problem is a clogged injector. But if I had to replace the fuel pump, anti-siphon and pickup, and now fix the injector....for 50 dollars im going to do the fpr while the plenum is off since all my fuel components seem to have issues.

If it doesn't interchange and it's a $400 part vs 50 then I wont.

you will have to do a cross-reference to the GM part. however the L29 was in 1996-2000 3/4 and 1 ton trucks

Located another cross reference part number to something you might be able to find in an local auto store…, https://www.rockauto.com/en/parts/skp,SKPR223,fuel+injection+pressure+regulator,6124
Click the info icon inside the link as there are more numbers down low like GM numbers , etc..
