1999 175hp EFI charging issue

2 questions.

1. I recently had the flywheel on my outboard come loose. I torqued back to spec. Now the engine doesn't charge. Everything checks out electrically. I am guessing that flywheel has hit a pickup on the stator??
Has anyone had a similar issue???

2. Best way to remove Flywheel without the Mercury SST??
