While out on our last boating trip we noticed this part leaking fuel/oil and once we messed around with it some the boat would crank easier. Is it the fuel pump? Think possibly just a gasket needing replaced?
Looks like an accelerator pump.-----That motor only runs on the top 2 cylinders at idle.-----Bottom 2 carburetors kick in at about 1800 RPM.---Easy to replace the diaphragm / gaskets.
thanks alot, I kept googling motor schematics but could never find the part on any of them. But once I googled the accelerator pump it came right up in parts. Ordered repair kit, hopefully that will take care of this issue.
