Getting to know this motor. When I turn the key, I am getting no spark at all the cylinders. I notice the powerpack was recently replaced within the last 3 years. Everything else looks original. I notice there is a purple wire coming from under the flywheel to the powerpack area but it is not connected to anything. Found a corroded connector under the powerpack area but that is it. Looking at a breakdown diagram, I see there is a 20amp fuse somewhere. So I have 3 questions.
1. Where is this fuse and what is it for?
2. What is the purple wire for?
3. What size is the flywheel nut? I tried 1 7/16 and 1 3/8. Ones is too big, the other too small. They were 12 point sockets.

I appreciate the input from you guys!! Trying the simple stuff first.

Twenty amp fuse is located on the port rear side under the electrical box cover. Actually you can get to it from the top...it is in a red rubber holder and is a blade type fuse. There is a spare right next to it.
It does not prevent spark if it is blown. It is for the power up to the keyswitch, and eventually back to the starter solenoid. If it is blown, you will have an inoperative key, and inoperative TandT.

The older packs needed the purple wire as an active connection. New packs do not need it. The purple ia always +12 switched voltage source. Switch the key on, you should have 12 volts on that line. It does not need to be connected.

Flywheel nut size is 1 7/16 thin wall socket. You can get them at Sears, or Armstrong makes them...Google it. In a pinch, a 36 mm socket will possibly fit tight.

No spark...look at the CDI tech support pages for troubleshooting guide.
