I recently installed a remaned powerhead and followed the tune-up instructions from the manual. The idle rpm is between 500 and 1000 butidles rough. My question is do I need to adjust the timing and spark or set the idle the only problem is I cant find any adjusting screws. The engine is V4 Crossflow. Does anybody have any suggestions.

Idle speed should be 6-700rpm in gear. The adjustment screw is not on the carb, it is in the upper left corner of the engine when you're facing the carbs, just above the throttle lever, should be regular flathead screw. You should check on how to do a throttle valve sync and spark advance adjustment too in the manual.
