I just bought a 1997 mercury outboard, 30 hp. electric start, power trim on a lowe 14" alum boat.
I am servicing it.
It has champion plugs, I was told ngk are better, is this true?
Also, What should motor have for compression?
What should this boat have for a pitch on the prop, it has a hard time to come up on plane with two good sized guys in it and it won't plane by myself.
it has a 15 pitch right now.
Any help would be great
