do timin' anytime ya change any of these, trigger, stator, switch boxes..

backfire, check all trigger, stator, switch box wirin' ta make sure right color wire goin' ta right terms/coils...

gas thing is gonna be either and/or floats, needle, seats, internal gaskets............

Dukedog, I checked and triple checked the wiring from stator to switch boxes to coils. I have the outside switch box wired with the striped wires, then to the 2,4,6 bank of motor. The timing is so far off that I can only see the timing numbers when I have the light on the #2 plug wire. I looked at my phone photo from before I took it apart to replace parts and it looks as if the 1,3,5 coils were on the OUTSIDE switch box. Do I change it to 1,3,5 = outside and run it that way? I'm not sure I can get the timing to move far enough the way it is. Wire diagram I'm using is: http://www.maxrules.com/oldmercs/Wiring/1966ona/52.jpg
