1997 kawasaki sun cruiser

I have a chance to buy one for $1000.00 it is a 650 and the riders sit side by side. It is from a dealer and they will do a compresion check for me. I know nothing about wave runners but think me and my kids would enjoy one.<br />My question is this a good deal? <br />how fast will this go?<br />Will it pull a skier?<br /><br /><br />Thanks Willy

I have seen a few but All I can say is a 650 should pull a skier, have them check the impeller if its aluminum be sure its good or you will have to replace it, that will cost you some money there. The thing will be a beast to controll with a skier behind it though. and I don't think it will go over 35 without a skier behind it. Jets are poor in the bottom end so it may labor getting some one out of the water. I would jot down the registration number and go to your local d m v and track down the previous owner for some background on the ski. They may give you all the answers you need.
