1997 Force problem with the Arm/Throttle

Hello,
I need to disassemble the throttle arm to fix the trim/tilt function. Does anyone show me how to do it? Many thanks - Anthony

Make and model of the controls would help.

If its commander 3000 side mount unit, Push in the throttle only button, advance the throttle, pry out the button, remove the nut that is revealed.

Thank you Roscoe. I'm not sure what the exact model is as I recently bought a 1997 17' Maxum 1700 MX with Force 120 Outboard. I can manually adjust the trim using the three wires (red, blue, green) but I'd like to disassemble the throttle arm to fix it instead. Many thanks - Anthony
