1997 Crestliner 18+- ft w/200hp Johnson

Our credit union has a repossessed 1997 Crestliner on good trailer (EZloader) and 200 hp Johnson that says it needs work. They are asking $4,000.00. Is that reasonable or not? Boat itself looks in good shape.

I know it's a bit late to post, but I just priced an '05 18'2" Mirage, and the boat/trailer with NO engine is well over 14 thou....<br />Wanted to put my 200 on it. I now have a '79 starcraft 18 that I have refurbished about 4 years ago, and I wouldn't let the boat alone go for under 6k....4k would be a hell of a buy if the engine is good...

That's the thing, they say the motor needs work. How, what's wrong, nobody seems to know. They still have it, I think as it is still listed. I will just have to keep an eye on and maybe make a low ball bid.

I would get an engine model number and make sure it's not and older crossflow...
