When i get home from work, I will take as many pictures as I can. Thanks for your help, so far its been very useful. What kind of top end speed do you get on your boat? Do you run a three blade or a four blade prop on yours? You have the 5.7L on yours as well?

factory everything, with a 3 blade i can get about 50mph, with the 4 blade it drops to about 48. Usually I only run around at about 30mph, not a speed demon, but the boat gets on plane real quick.

It's been awhile, but think I got low 50's when stock w/alum 3 blade. At 30-35mph its a nice smooth ride.

PS: I also have smart tabs.

Okay, so tell me do you think the smart tabs help out a lot? Do you notice much difference with or without them. Because the boat gets on plane so quickly, I didnt think they would be much benefit. Let me know your experience since you have basically the same boat.

Yea, you don't really need them for getting on plane. The V8 in this hull does make it stearn heavy. The tabs do keep the bow rise down. Significantly reduces v bow wonder at low speeds, controls high speed porposing and chine walk. Also control in turns is improved.

Here are some pictures of my top and the two poles that came with it. Like someone said, I got the braces but that was the wrong piece. I need the poles that go from these top two poles down to the boat. I wish I could figure out how to put pictures in the post, but Iboats is very restrictive on how they want pictures on here. Here are the links to the cover and poles.

Go to an upholstery shop and show them what you need. You can also just buy some of the tubing and cut them to the required length and put the appropriate connection on the end. Your existing poles have the sleeves already on them.

They don't appear to be the exact same as mine. Here is a side shot of how they connect.
