1996 Mariner 25ML timing

I have a 1996 Mariner 25ML outboard. The rod coming from the timing plate is fixed to a bolt on the block. It is adjustable for static timing only. My question is; is the advance electronic? TIA Cheers, Dave

I have a 1994 merc that has the timing curve built into the switchbox. The trigger is fixed and does not rotate like on most motors.
