1996 Marada MX1 SS Boat Parts? Anyone Parting one out?

I'm new to the iboats forum and hope someone can help. I have a 1996 Marada MX 1 SuperSport and although I've only had it a year it has been a great boat. This winter the storage building collapsed on top of it, busting the side glass and bending the aluminum frame around the glass. I'm having a real problem trying to find the glass and frame for the right side. I've seen other Maradas around, someone has to be parting one out. Any ideas where I can look? I've tried calling some local salvage yards, but no luck.

Welcome to iboats. Sorry to hear about your boat damage

We really do not permit any form of wanted or for sale stuff

Ebay craigslist and salvage yards are about the only place unless you contact a windshield company such as Taylor for parts.

The saddest part is the windshield is REAL REAL costly to replace or repair. I have seen quotes as high as $6000 on a larger Donzi for just one side

Have you tried a local glass place that deals in windshield etc?

I feel your pain on this one.

Thanks Bob, I'll keep looking around. I picked up the boat, in really good shape last summer and it has been great. It is my first boat and been fun plus I only paid $6,000 for the boat so I don't want to spend too much on the window. Thanks.
