Good news at last. I have rotated the ring magnet, and now have the timing almost spot on. Engine fires up for a short time when injecting fuel directly. Now to replace my fuel lines and go from there. Word of warning, lining up the notch on the magnet to the factory mark on the flywheel does not work.

be careful im not convinced there are any marks to line that up correctly save a flexible ruler and another flywheel for reference. but then again you could be correct id just confirm with racer. the concern would be all it takes is a tiny movement to the right and WOT timing is off a couple degrees
