I can't get the trim guage to work. I ordered a new oem one thinking that was the issue but not so much. I have continuity on the signal wire to the motor from the switch. So I was thinking it was the sender but I can't find one on the motor. I have the Hanyes manual but it doesn't the location for the 75. I did see in the mercs they had a unit mounted on the transom backed but this doesn't have any holes for mounting that I can find. Any ideas where it would be. The trim works find it just annoys me the guage doesn't work

i have a 96 force 75HP motor and can confirm this model did not have a trim indicator unit on the motor, I have also searched the world over trying to find some information, but was told no trim indicator unit on those model of force motors. have to engineer something was all I knew to do.

Those models didn't have a sending unit.
But they installed a gauge anyway. :(
