I have a 1996 Evinrude 115HP Intruder and I tried to go fishing today and the motor started right up as before but when I stopped to get some bait and cranked the motor again the alarm horn sounded and I noticed that my check engine light was on. When I came home I checked the manual it briefly mentioned something about fuel restriction so I checked the fuel filter and what do you know it was clogged. I cleaned it and cranked the motor again and the alarm horn sounded and the check engine light came back on. I was wondering if I needed to have the alarm reset or is it something more???
