1996 Evinrude 8 HP

1996 Evinrude 8 HP runs rough at mid RPM's. Took to shop and had carb cleaned and adjusted, changed plugs, new non Ethanal gas mix. Motor idles great and runs well at high RPM, however runs very rough at mid RPM's, seems to be running on one cylinder.
I am now suspecting either the coil or power pack. Anybody had similar problems any input would be appreciated.

find some one with similiar motor(can be 6 hp, 8 hp, 9.9 or 15 ) made in close model year and swap power pack or coil its the best to not invest monay in wrong way.
