Well, my problem with the starter solinoid being stuck on has gone away for now. On to the next tasks to try to get this beast started. The starter engages and turns the engine over, but the engine makes no attempt to light. I am seeing unburned fuel coming out from between the prop and lower unit housing after cranking.

I am going to check for spark, compression and hook an external tank up with fresh fuel, as suggested in other threads.

What is the best way to drain the engine of the existing fuel? I can easily get to the fuel filter and get some fuel out. But I would assume that there is still fuel from that point forward in the engine.
