It would be a temperature sensor.-----You can disconnect it for a test.

I have had a hard time starting this motor. Compression is 117 and 115. After many try's it will start and runs great. Shut it off and it may start or might take another 20 pulls on the recoil to get it going. I decided to check the compression and spark this mourning and found no spark. Unhooked the kill button and tried and still no spark on either cylinder. Question is can a powerpack work then not work? I wouldn't think both coils would go at once? I have no way of testing it but wanted to check here before I just throw money into it for a new one. Any other thoughts on it? Motor is new to me.
Lost spark on my 20hp on both cylindes. Was just a poor ground wire to block connection from power pack.

I checked all wires but everything looked good. Still waiting for the power pack to arrive.

Thanks Racerone and everyone else that offered help. Got the new powerpack in and installed it today and all was good! Runs great and starts right off.
