1996 Boston Whaler Rage 15 motor swap

Hello I have a 1996 Boston Whaler Rage 15 with the OMC 115 turbo jet. I was doing some research and saw that from 1997-1998 Boston Whaler put a 175 Mercury SportJet in the rage. I was wondering besides the motor what differences are there between theses two boats. I was also wondering if it is possible to put the 175 Mercury SportJet in my 1996 rage 15. Like what would I have to change on my 96 to fit the 175 Mercury SportJet? Annyone who has information on this I would greatly appreciate your feed back. Thank you

Unable to say for sure, but just like switching from a stern drive OMC to Merc, it's doable, just need to made do a little fiber glass work. That's only IF needed and glass work isn't that hard
