1996 115 mariner NO spark

while fishing this past weekend, the motor started great at the landing and I drove about 1/2 mile to my fishing spot. turned the motor off with the key. 30 minutes later the motor turns over and it gets gas but wont fire, no spark in any of the 4 plugs. Anyone willing to share some insight as what to look for? I checked all the wires and looked for loose nuts ect. What should I check next? model number is 115 ELPTO sn 06348560 THANKS FOR ANY REPLIES

Sounds like I'm being a wise guy but did u check the "run/off" switch or the emergency kill switch?

not a dumb question, but yes i did, many times.

There is a troubleshooting procedure on the CDIElectronics web site. The first test is to disconnect the black/yellow wire on the switchbox, and see if spark returns.
