Working on a '95 150hp EFI. Have no fuel pressure when key is turned to run position. At least not most of the time. Once in a while it does. Service manual says either ECU or fuel pump. Tried both, and does the same thing. Turns over good and I have spark. If I jump out the fuel pump, it runs and builds pressure. Also no "chirp" when I turn key to run. I'm thinking bad connection somewhere, but where to start? Any suggestions?

no pressure, sometimes pressure when key is cycled?.. bad pump driver circuit (ecu) or bad pump.. disconnect both + and - from pump.. isolate both and tape up both... find a purple anywhere on tha motor... tie into it and go to + side of pump.. make a new ground from anywhere on tha block and tie to - side of pump.. this will by-pass tha ecu pump driver.. with this type connection made the pump should run any time key is cycled.. motor will run as long as key is on... .

no/interment chirp/test beeps with key cycle.. oil injection still intact? if so its gonna be a problem with oiler module.. goin' south or already gone...

Thanks guys, got it going. Fuse in holder didn't really seem melted, but seemed to be stuck in pretty tight. Also found a light blue sensor wire bullet connector that was loose. I now have fuel pressure and chirp every time. Nice to know how to bypass the ECU driver too! Now if I can figure out why yhe tach doesn't work, I'll be happy!!
