well i am a NEWBIE to the boat scene i got a 1991 16 ft predator bay boat with a 1995 johnson 90hp v4 ocean runner as the outboard of it, got it about two months ago...to make the story short.... my power pack and and optical sensor went out according to the mechanic there was a lot of misfiring on different cylinders....& decided to buy the upgrade kit from CDI.... my question is how come the wire harness going to the original power pack is different from the way it shows and looks on the installation instructions from CDI.... should i swap them around the way CDI picture shows or should i just plug n play & leave the original harness the way it is(color code of thewires)??? Anything from you guys is greatly appreciated.......
