Try with the yellow rectifier or rectifier/regulator wires disconnected. If spark, replace the rectifier/regulator.

No spark with rectifier disconnected. I am doing all my test with a remote starter button connected to starter relay is this a mistake?

That's not the proper time base voltage.

I dont use a dva, I use a peak reading voltmeter but I think they are the same.

Performed test again and come up with power pack faulty.
white/blue connect 86v, white/green connected 72v
disconnected readings are .6 and 1.18. Ohms readings for power pack; orange/blue to blue 70 ohms, orange/green to green 70 ohms, brown & brown/yellow are 10m ohms

Perhaps look at post # 2 again.----Nothing else has worked / given you a happy ending.

Got looking at motor again and stator output yest fails with only 200 volts. Looked at when I ordered part and ot was a 4amp instead of a 12amp. Are 4amp ignitions lower voltage? Did I find the problem? Thank you

The 4 / 12 amp refers to the BATTERY charging part of the stator and NOT ignition..----Perhaps 4 amperes at idle and 12 amperes to charge the battery at full throttle.------Keep trouble shooting on this motor !!

should be a 20amp fuse in the system. worth checking. "died like you shut the key off" sounds like a blown fuse.

Doubt a blown fuse is the problem.-----That motor can be started with a dead battery when pulled over with a rope.------Fuse is for the cranking / starting bits of the motor.
