Just wanted to give an update. I ordered a stator off of DB electrical. It was just under $200 shipped. Arrived in a week…..I installed it today and the Motor fired right up. Other than needing the idle adjusted it ran great on muffs. Tomorrow I plan to to run it in a tank of water for a while. Thank you for all your inputs. It feels great being able to fix this myself.

If your running in a tank?

Make sure the water is deep.
Needs to be 4 inches over the top of the cavitation plate.
FYI If it's a 2 piece lower: then it needs special muffs for running on the hose.
Using regular muffs can cause over heating.
