Bought a used 24' pontoon with a 95 Force 120. Has run fine the couple of times we had the boat on the lake this spring. Last time out, it would only engage in neutral or reverse, it will not engage in forward.
I had a similar thing happen after a local dealer put in new impellers. the shift linkage was out of adjustment on one of the engines.<br /><br />with motor turned off and cowl removed push shift all the way forward and all the way backward. Is cable moving? Do same but with somebody to help. turn motor all the way right or left. you should be able to see the shift rod on front of engine just above the gearcase fins. Have them watch the shift rod and make sure it is moving up and down.
