1995 Force 120 gear shift arm

[Boat no worky]

I recently dropped the lower end to replace the impellor.
I marked the shift arm but things got moved and I am not sure of the current position. Is there a way to start from the begining to realign the shift rod?

I just went thru this on my 96 120.Manual said to place in fwd. Didn't work for me I placed gear shift in neutral. Turn the gear selector on the lo2wer unit until you find neutral between fwd and rev. Worked well for me8)
