Hey all, and thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide. I have been trying to get my little 15' aluminum bass boat up and running but I am having some starting issues. The motor will quickly fire up after a slight choke but will only idle for a few seconds before dying out. If I intermittently choke it before it dies out, it will continue to run. Once I let it go, it dies out again. Thinking the carb was gunked up or dirty, I took it off (which was a ridiculous pain because of having to remove the starter first), cleaned it out, and put it back on and same thing. Not sure what to do at this point. Could there be a fuel pump issue? Bulb stays tight from tank and sprays when gas line removed, so line is clear. Next steps? Model: J30ELEOB Please help!
