I think my problem is before the vacuum switch as my primer bulb is terribly hard to prime. I put in a fuel water seperator which is above both the fuel tank and the engine. At one point I removed the anti siphon valve on the fuel tank ( this is before I installed the fuel water seperator, I did this because I was told it was redundant and not needed as the primer bulb has one in it already). I am curious, do I now need this valve to keep fuel from draining back into the tank from the fuel water seperater when not running? My fuel lines are all tight , I don't believe air is entering from before the engine. One other question, when the fuel water seperator is filled with water does this create a fuel restriction or does water enter the system instead of fuel? My alarm goes off a few times a day usually at slow speed or idle and by priming the bulb it turns off. The other day it started going off at 3000 RPM. Don't want to damage the engine .Suggestions appreciated.
